A potential slip up on the PlayStation Store may have revealed that the original Red Dead Redemption could finally be coming to PC.

As reported by IGN, a now-changed listing on the PlayStation Store read “Experience the epic western adventures that defined a generation — now on PC for the first time ever.” It isn’t on PC, yet, but the copy continues to mention PC features.

“Featuring the complete single player experiences of both games, including bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition, Red Dead Redemption features all of the 2023 console version upgrades plus PC specific enhancements including support for increased resolutions and framerates, multiple displays, and other accessories, plus spatial surround sound.”

This doesn’t look like just a typo or someone incorrectly thinking the game is coming to a platform it actually isn’t. Mentioning several PC-specific features makes it seem like this port is definitely around the corner and the information was just accidentally leaked early.

It is odd that the information would appear on the PlayStation Store, however. While Sony has been bringing several of its larger first-party games to PC, Red Dead Redemption was never a console exclusive, so it seems odd to advertise another platform in this instance.

NME did report back in May that a PC port of Red Dead Redemption may well be on the way, so this just adds more fuel to that fire. The marketing copy allegedly found in a datamine is very similar to the copy seen on the PlayStation Store, so it’s quite likely that the PC port is just around the corner.

In other news, GTA 5 actors Ned Luke and Steven Ogg have shared a teaser for some upcoming project on Twitter. It’s unclear what exactly it is.
